I was not going to post today, but I thought it might be helpful to post about the day after my first practice. I will admit, there is some increased pain in my belly. It is manageable and well worth the sacrifice of being able to practice, even a little bit yesterday. It is my understanding that I can expect some pain there for another four months, a total of six months or so.
While I would not want to do a full on practice today . . . OK, well I do, but I won’t . . . I am comfortable doing other things. So, I will try to get 10,000 steps in and keep that blood flowing and the healing process going. I may even do some point control with the blade and some short amount of tai chi. Tomorrow, I’m hoping to get to the gym for a basic, body-weight, workout and some HIIT.
